BFI Pays Tribute to Alfred Hitchcock

One of cinema’s greatest ever directors, Alfred Hitchcock was honoured like never before with the British Film Institute hosting a retrospective of his works in London earlier this year

All thanks to the British Film Institute (BFI), the past three months have been a great time to get reacquainted with ‘The Master of Suspense.’ One of cinema’s greatest ever directors, Alfred Hitchcock was honoured like never before, from August to October in London, with the BFI screenings of every one of his films. Additionally, nine of his silent films, all produced in the second half of the `20s, were painstakingly restored by the BFI, and presented to the accompaniment of live music or commissioned scores.
