Hi-tech solar projects inaugurated in Gurgaon

Fairwood Smart Green introduces innovative range of smart IQ energy monitoring & conservation systems including the ‘Hybrid Green Box’

A hi-tech facility for the production of green hybrid boxes for the solar projects, a part of a joint venture between Slovenia and India, was inaugurated by Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda last Tuesday. Fairwood Smart Green, a leading global proponent of sustainable solutions and technology will be targeting renewable and infrastructure projects with wide range of energy conservation systems that will promote renewable power.  

Karl Erjavec, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, Mrs. Darja Bavdaz – Kuret, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia were along with other senior company heads and partners were present during the programme. 

“Fairwood Smart Green has taken a significant step by investing in renewable sources of energy which will meet the millennium cities’ requirement and will transform Gurgaon as the Green City Capital of the country.” Hooda said. 

"The hilly areas of Panchkula and remote areas of Bhiwani, Rewari and Mahendergarh districts in Haryana will benefit from this technology and the state government will extend all support needed to promote this," he added further. 

At present, 195.99 MW of electricity is being produced from renewable sources in Haryana. These include 73.30 MW from small hydro, 107.20 MW from bio-mass, 4.14 MW from waste, 7.8 MW from solar and 2.74 MW from bio-mass gasification.

Fairwood smart Green aims to collaborate with NGO’s and intends to target 200-500 villages for rural electrification across various states of India starting with Bihar, Orissa, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal and North East states, as well as in other Asian countries. One of the key highlights ‘The Hybrid Green Box’, is a stand-alone energy production and management system which combines solar plant production, other renewable energy systems, storage and land management applications for rural and remote locations (decentralized power generation for rural electrification, telecom towers, ATM applications etc) and urban areas (homes, factories, schools, institutes & commercial applications).  The facility will also manufacture the next generation remote monitoring and control of SPSS (Solar Power Supervisory System) along with hardware (String Monitoring Box – SMB) and software (Solar Web) for Mega Watt (MW) size power plants in the Indian market.  

Slovenian foreign minister emphasized on the future beneficial aspects of the project which will provide employment opportunities and strengthen economic ties between India and Slovenia.
