HPS@Crossroads
Shri Ram College of Commerce presents 'HPS@Crossroads' from 15th February to 18th February 2012.
The events include:
1. LEGACY - The History Quiz
Who said "how fortunate for leaders that men do not think"? It was Adolf Hitler. More history related questions at SRCC's history quiz.
2. SPLASH - Bucket Balance
The most looked forward to event this year involves teams of three, lying on their back in a circle with a bucket filled with water balanced on their feet. The aim of the game is for all team members to remove their shoes without getting wet. Definitely challenging!Not as easy as it sounds!
3. PEN IT DOWN - The Essay Writing Competition
Everyone has views. Everyone has opinions. A competition where entries will be judged on creativity and knowledge on history and political issues.
4. CLICK, GRAB and GET - The Scavenger hunt
This is a game which was a major hit last year and has become associated with HPS. It has a little twist this time. Teams shall be given a list of items not just to find but to click photographs of, salvage and bring back to the stall. The first team to do so wins!
5. THE QUEST - Treasure Hunt
Participants will be made to run around the entire campus in search of clues to help them get closer to the hidden treasure.
6. PAINT YOUR HEROES - Sketch-A-History Character Competition
For the creatively inclined an event where based on his/her thoughts about an historic personality sketches have to be made and followed up with an explanation for the sketch.
7. SING OUT LOUD – Karaoke
For people who love to sing at the top of their voice but can't quite remember all the lyrics we have KARAOKE! With lyrics and tunes played by the DJ we provide a stage to stardom for all the wannabe singers!
8. EAT TO BEAT - The Momo Eating Competition
We all love momos but to what extent? The person to eat the most number of momos with extremely chili sauce takes home the prize.
9. JUNKYARD WARS - Create-your-Product Competition
Participants are provided with a pile of assorted junk and are required to create something useful within a given time.
10. TUG – OF – WAR
Fun activity. Physically exhausting and emotionally climaxing!
11. CHOCO DELIGHT – Chocolate Eating Competition
For all the chocolate lovers this is your platform to prove your love for chocolates. A race against time competition, where the participant who completes the chocolates first bags the prize.
12. PAPER DANCE
Time to ignore her eyes and concentrate on your coordination.It is not an easy feat to dance on the paper.Come and enjoy with your partner the joys of dancing together.
13. BOLLYWOOD TAMBOLA
Prove what a bollywood gyanguru you are.Complete your housie as you are given filmy clues for filmy answers.
14. BLINDFOLD MAZE
Out of three members two wear blindfolds and cross a sea of obstacles to reach their destination as the other member directs them to it.
15. LEMON RACE
Each participant holds a spoon, with a lemon on it, in their mouth and both hands and competes to cross the finish line first. Don't drop the lemons on your way!
